Build, run and test an agent's tools, hooks and page handlers locally
Work on an agent's owner-authored code without deploying it.
Tool extensions (.genie/tools/), hooks (.genie/hooks/) and page handlers (handlers.ts or handlers.js beside a page under shared/) are TypeScript or JavaScript the agent runs in its embedded engine.
The runtime bundles them at load: relative imports inside the agent config root, TypeScript stripped of its types, named exports as the names the runtime looks up.
These commands use that same build and engine against a local config root, typically your agent repo, with mocks in place of the agent's tools.
