Build Mutiro Agents with Your Coding Assistant

A Mutiro agent is a directory of files: its instructions, skills, tools, and pages. You keep it in git and deploy it with the mutiro CLI. A coding assistant can do all of that with you, once it knows how Mutiro works.

The Mutiro developer guide is a skill that teaches your assistant exactly that: creating an agent, writing its instructions, tool extensions, hooks, and page handlers, testing it, running evals, and deploying. Install it once and your assistant stays current with the platform.

The assistant needs to run commands on your computer: Claude Code (the Code tab in the Claude desktop app, or the terminal), Codex, Cursor, or similar.

Paste this into your coding assistant. It installs the guide, installs the CLI, logs you in, and asks what you want to build.

Set up Mutiro so we can build an agent together. Install the Mutiro developer guide: in Claude Code, run `claude plugin marketplace add mutirolabs/skills` and `claude plugin install mutiro@mutirolabs`; in any other assistant, run `npx skills add mutirolabs/skills --skill mutiro-agent`. Then read https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mutirolabs/skills/main/skills/mutiro-agent/SKILL.md, follow its first section to install the mutiro CLI and log me in, and ask me what agent I want to build.

Claude Code: the mutiro plugin

The plugin carries the developer guide and updates with each release.

/plugin marketplace add mutirolabs/skills /plugin install mutiro@mutirolabs

Or from a shell:

Claude Code does not update plugins from other publishers on its own by default. Run claude plugin marketplace update mutirolabs, or turn on auto-update for the mutirolabs marketplace in /plugin.

To offer the plugin to everyone working in an agent's repository, commit this to the repository's .claude/settings.json:

Codex, Cursor, and other assistants: the skill

The same guide is a portable skill that works in any assistant that reads skills. From your agent's repository:

npx skills add mutirolabs/skills --skill mutiro-agent

--skill mutiro-agent matters: the repository also holds skills meant for the agents themselves, not for your assistant.

Without Node, download the mutiro-agent skill and unpack it into your assistant's skills folder, keeping the files beside SKILL.md.
